PostSubject: Loot Rules   Fri Jul 17, 2009 6:18 pm

1. Looting is roll-based. We roll Main Spec, then Off Spec (if no one rolled main spec).

2. If no one rolls main spec on an item, rolls are opened for offspec/alts. If this item is main spec for you, your roll will be discounted for offspec; you should roll main spec for items that are for your main spec.

3. Raid Leader / Loot Master keeps a list of who has won each item, one list for main spec rolls, a different list for off spec rolls.

4. Raid leader & officers determine if rolls are appropriate (ie Main Spec) for a player’s class. So, if you are a healer, we will disallow rolls on caster DPS gear, for example.

5. Players roll as many times as they want. Loot Master will discard rolls from players who have won an item already, in favor of those who have not yet won. This helps distribute loot evenly. If all rollers have already won something, high roll wins.

6. A) All members are required to declare their MAIN toon, as well as their MAINSPEC for that toon, under the "MAIN SPEC MAIN TOON" section on forums. Anyone who has alt(s), that they may raid with in the future, need to also declare these toons and their MAINSPEC on the same forum thread.
B) MainSpecs on Main toons will be the concentration for loot distribution.
    i) The first roll on drops will be for MAINSPEC rolls only. Note on alts: Alts cannot roll on this round unless they were asked to bring the alt by the RL to fill a certain need in the raid. If they were asked and they have declared that alt and its Mainspec on the forums, then that alt can roll the same as a Mainspec'd/Main toon.
ii) The second roll on drops will be for OFFSPEC rolls only. Alts that were not asked to bring the alt, and have declared their alt and its Mainspec MAY roll on this round for gear that matches their MAINSPEC only.
iii) MAIN Toons that choose to raid on a certain night in their OFFSPEC, but were not asked to do so by RL, may roll on this round for gear that matches their MAINSPEC or their OFFSPEC.
iv) MAIN Toons that are asked to raid on a certain night in their OFFSPEC will roll for MAINSPEC gear only on the first(Mainspec) roll and can roll on OFFSPEC gear only on the second(Offspec) roll.
    v) Loot not rolled on will be DE'd with the resulting mats deposited to the gbank. If no DE'r is present the ML will gather all unwanted gear and vendor the items. They will then deposit the money to the gbank.

C) PUG players will declare before the raid what spec they will be rolling on. All pugs will be treated as MAIN toons and the declared spec will be their MAINSPEC for that raid.

7. For BoE items, we roll Main Spec only. If no one rolls, it’s banked for 1 week. During this period guild members may review and request the item. After 1 week the item will be placed on the AH and the money will be deposited into the gbank for enchants and other upgrades for the guild. BOE items MUST be equiped immediately.

8. Down-grading is not permitted on Main Spec rolls. If an item is a downgrade for you, but you still want it (for whatever reason), you may roll offspec for it.

9. In 25 man raids, we collect all greens & DE them for banking. This allows guildies to get enchants on their newest gear.

10. Class specific items such as: idols, relics, totems, etc. will not count toward MAINSPEC or OFFSPEC rolls. They are open rolls for all of the specific class that do not already have the item.

11. A) BoE Recipe drops will not be distributed to pugs. If pugs are in raid the recipe will be picked up by the RL and distributed to a guild crafter after the raid. If no pugs exist, the recipe Recipes distributed must be read and learned on the spot.
B) BOP recipies can be rolled for by all crafter's in the raid who meet the minimum profession level to use the recipe. Including pugs.

12. Toons rolling on gear that is their maximum gear type (priest/cloth, druid/leather, shaman/mail) will get priority over toons rolling on gear that is less than their maximum gear type. For example, a pally and priest may both roll on cloth for mainspec, but the priest's roll will get priority and trump the pally's roll regardless. This is not a separate roll, but a check performed when rolls are made
